REFUNDS POLICY 

Disclaimer

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”,”Us” and Masquerade Online, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. “Website” and “Online Store” can be used interchangeably throughout this document and hold the same meaning within the scope of this document. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing South African Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

  1. Returns

We accept returns. You can return unopened items to us in the original packaging within 14 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 14 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return or not. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable. To follow-up on the status of your return, please contact us at info@masqueradecostumes.co.za.

  1. Exchanges 

We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at info@masqueradecostumes.co.za with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to:  P.O. Box 2944, Sunninghill West, 2157.

Alternatively these can be dropped off at our Sister stores:

Masquerade Costume Hire Bryaston: Corner Main Road & Post House Street, Bryanston;

Masquerade Costume Hire Sunninghill: Sunninghill Village Shopping Centre, Corner Maxwell Drive & Edison Crescent, Sunninghill.

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the product(s) during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
